Hughes County Rural Water District #2 – Special Meeting – March 5, 2012 – Stuart, Oklahoma

UPDATE:  The board on March 5, 2012 took action to credit the entire water bill for the Stuart School.  The vote was unanimous.

Yes, apparently Hughes County Rural Water District #2 is having another special meeting, according to the public posting I saw taped to door of their billing/collections office.   The postings says that the special meeting is scheduled for March 5, 2012 at 7:30pm.  This makes about the 3rd special meeting with the past 30 days.  Unfortunately they are going to have it in that small office room AGAIN.

One of the items to be discussed and possible action to be taken, that got my attention, was about the Stuart School.   I’m wondering what would cause this water district to discuss the quality of the water of the school to the extent that they would discuss an alternate water source for the school.  The school is on the same water system as the citizens and businesses.

I’ll give updates after I learn what happened at this special meeting.
